Yogic View- Rudraksha and Manipura Chakra

3. Manipura chakra:

The Manipura chakra is situated behind the navel. It is the second most important energy centre in the body after the brain.
This chakra is governed by the Fire element. Therefore, this chakra governs eyes, legs and mind. It also exerts influence over the liver, gall bladder and peripheral nervous system.

It has 10 petals with the following physical functions:

i. Controlling the diaphragm and the suprarenal glands
ii. Controlling major blood vessels in the body
iii. Controlling the spleen
iv. Controlling the stomach
v. Controlling kidneys
vi. Controlling the function of testicles and urinary tract
vii. Controlling the function of ovaries and uterus
viii. Control of small intestine
ix. Controlling the pancreas
x. Control of large intestine and appendix

Imbalances in the chakra causes sapping of life force, emotional coldness, indifference, insecurity, lack of self confidence, obsession with power, excessive ambition, ruthlessness, tantrums, eating disorders, sleep disorders, unachieved goals, no enforcement power, blocked emotions, stomach disorders, heartburn, diseases of liver, spleen, gall bladder, jaundice, indigestion, pain in the lumbar spine, nervous disorders, mellitus, diabetes and obesity.

This chakra is under the control of Vruddha Rudra.

11 mukhi rudraksh, which represents the eleven rudras should be worn for the activation of this chakra. The Shivapurana says that 11 mukhi rudraksh ensures success in all fields. The Devi Bhagavatam supports this by saying that a person wearing the 11 mukhi rudraksh begets all sorts of happiness.
This rudraksh also shows remarkable increase in chances of conception.

Cost conscious people can opt for 3 faced rudraksha for this chakra. It represents Agni. Shivapurana says that people wearing this rudraksha become brilliant in all branches of knowledge. There are observances that a person does not feel thirsty or hungry for a prolonged period if he wears this rudraksha.

Short sunbaths, abdominal breathing, emotional music help stimulate this chakra. The yogic processes of Agnisar and Uddiyan bandha are also helpful in chakra activation.

Hello,
I wanted to know to which chakra does 7 mukhi belong to?
There are a lot more rudrakshas than what you've mentioned and they must relate to the chakras with certain combination. Do you mind putting that information up at the blog, I'm sure some bloggers would love to read this occult science. Thanks for your time!

Namah Shivaya !

Seven mukhi is a complex bead with lots of corresponding devatas like Kamadeva, Mahalaxmi, Saptarshis, Saptashwa ie Surya, Saptamatrikas (mother godesses) and Anantanaga.

It has the tendency to balance the material and spiritual life of a person. It is a bit difficult to decide the corresponding chakra. But the basic charateristics like bestowal of wealth, love etc coupled with a philosophical development etc would link it to Swadhishthana and Anahata chakra.

I will surely publish remaining information about rudrakshas soon.

Namo Namah!

As per various Puranas, 6 mukha and 4 mukha Rudraksha is worn on right hand,9 mukhi on left hand. Fourteen mukhi on the head and one mukhi on the shikha.
Yet it is all right to wear them even around the neck.
I would suggest that you wear a 6 and four mukhi on your right hand. the rest can be worn around the neck. make gaurishankar as the Meru mani.
Observe the holes of the rudraksha. the hole which is perfectly round is the UPPER PART. it bears triangular or arrow shaped ridges around its border.

The LOWER PART has an undefined aperture.. it does not have arrow shaped ridges. the aperture is round or oblong.

while stringing the beads, you should take care that the upper part or lower part of a bead faces the similar part of the other bead.

MUKHE MUKHAM, PUCHCHHE PUCCHHAM. Thats all.

Dear Yash,
Diabetes is caused by a faulty Manipura chakra. But merely wearing Rudraksha will not cure you of diabetes. Take medication regularly.
I can share a recipe for a Kadha which helped my father immensely in keeping his sugar under control. Take 12 leaves of Kadhi patta ( curry leaves), 12 leaves of neem and 12 separate units of Bel leaves (Generally each Bel leaf has 3 units, so 4 leaves will give you 12 units). In the evening, wash these leaves and boil them in 2 glasses of water till the water boils down to one glass. keep this mixture overnight. After you brush your teeth in the morning filter the Kadha and drink it before having anything.
This is actually a tested medicine. Take it along with any other medication. You will find that your sugar stays in control easily. Follow your diet.Check sugar at regular intervals. The Doctor will reduce your dose in a month or two. Slowly your medicines will stop. Continue this kadha.
You can also take treatment from " Sharan" an institute based in Bangalore that cures people completely using Naturopathy. You can Google it up.

All the best!
